Marcela Marcelo Elementary School (MMES) celebrated Nutrition Month on July 4, 2025, with fun and meaningful activities. The event was led by the school nurse, Joan Kathleen, and followed this year’s theme: “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!”
The celebration started with a cheerful parade, featuring the MMES drum and lyre band along with SPTA officers, teachers, and students. Even though the ground was wet from earlier rain, the parade went on successfully.
After the parade, a school program was held where students wore bright and colorful fruit-themed headdresses. They performed dances and activities that highlighted the importance of eating healthy.
To end the day, everyone joined a lively Zumba session—including students, teachers, the school head, master teachers, and the SPTA president. The energy and smiles showed the strong support for healthy habits in the MMES community.
The event was a fun and inspiring way to remind everyone about the importance of good nutrition and staying active.
