Mid-Year INSET Day 2
On Day 2 of the In-Service Training, the session began with attendance, registration, and a recap by Ms. Alzate, followed by a series of engaging program presentations. Ms. Campus, Master Teacher I, introduced the R.O.S.E. and NUMERO projects, while Dr. Nora S. Pablo discussed TEE TO RISE, and Mr. Longcop shared insights on Project NUMERO and sports activities. After a brief health break, Mrs. Grace B. Nacu led a session on ALS, followed by Mrs. Parba’s presentation on the Remedial Reading Program. Mrs. Mindajao then covered Journalism, and Mr. Longcop wrapped up the morning with a discussion on the BSP. In the afternoon, key programs were discussed, including GSP by Mrs. Umaguing, Red Cross Youth by Mrs. De Gama, and SELG by Mr. Tiongson. After lunch, subject coordinators presented updates on their respective areas: Filipino by Mrs. Valerio, Araling Panlipunan by Ms. Altar, Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) by Mrs. Zabala, MAPEH by Mr. Longcop, and GMRC/ESP by Ms. Buenasflores. The day concluded with an evaluation of the programs and activities led by Dr. Gali, followed by a discussion on the GAD plan by Mrs. Sayson. The Day 2 of INSET wrapped up successfully, leaving participants inspired and informed.

Mid-Year INSET Day 1
Over 40 teachers kicked off the Mid-Year In-Service Training, focused on ‘Enhancing Teaching Quality through Adaptive and Innovative Instructional Approaches.’ The day featured insightful sessions, including Dr. Rosalie Condes on Inclusive Education, Ms. Sandra Gali on SALN and ZIP Grade, and Mrs. Reyes and Mrs. Opena on early literacy and CRLA. The final session, led by Mr. Jack Arthur Bacaycay, raised awareness on anti-trafficking. Teachers left empowered with new strategies and knowledge to enhance their teaching practices.

Marcelanian Kindergarten Excels at the Kinder Festival of Talents
On November 27, 2024, the Marcelanians proudly displayed their talents at the Cluster-based Kinder Festival of Talents at Apelo Cruz Elementary School. Competing alongside two other schools, they earned 3rd place in Story Reading, Vocal Solo, and Drawing, showcasing their versatility and dedication. The highlight of the event, however, was their victory in Cariňosa, where they clinched first place—a true testament to their creativity, hard work, and teamwork. Notable participants included Ma. Hannah C. Dumalaog (Vocal Solo), Rodelyn Villamor (3rd place in Drawing), Chris Aljon Colasito (3rd place in Story Reading), and the exceptional Folk Dance team—Charie Villaruel, Arianne Denise Rivera, Brianna Paulyn Yamat, Lian Alex Lacauta, Jan Clark Pinca, Gian H. Ramos, Klay Isaiah Daraman, Zia Althea Briane S. Borja, Laurice Jane M. Lasao, and Melvin Cosas Jr., who earned 1st place. Their achievements have set a new standard of excellence, inspiring those who witnessed their performances. This success was made possible by the guidance and dedication of their trainers: Paula Angela M. Tijares (Vocal Solo), Geah A. De Gama and Melanie O. Ambal (Folk Dance), Chanalene L. Villaruel (Drawing), and Leolyn A. Gaspado (Story Reading). The results reflect the perseverance, teamwork, and spirit that define the Marcelanian community.
