MMES holds SPTA General Assembly and Oath-Taking Ceremony of Newly Elected School Parent for SY 2025–2026 Marcela Marcelo Elementary School successfully conducted its School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) General Assembly and Oath-Taking Ceremonies today July 14, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the MMES Gymnasium. The activity marked a renewed commitment to strengthening the partnership between home and school in delivering quality, inclusive, and transformative education. Mrs. Cheryl D. Tagarao, Master Teacher I, warmly welcomed the parents, stakeholders, and school personnel in attendance. She also presented school updates and relevant matters concerning the learners’ development and academic progress. Highlighting the event was the presentation of the SPTA Accomplishment Report for SY 2024–2025 by Mrs. Lauren J. Ticman the outgoing SPTA President. The report detailed the initiatives, partnerships, and programs implemented over the past year, underscoring the vital role of parent-teacher collaboration in school improvement. The Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected SPTA and HPTA officers for School Year 2025–2026 was presided over by Dr. Tirso V. Gali, School Principal IV who also delivered the ceremonial challenge to the officers. In response, Mr. Edel Matias, the Newly Elected SPTA President delivered a message of acceptance, expressing gratitude and affirming his commitment to serve the school community with dedication and unity. The event concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Jennifer G. Bucag, SPTA Adviser who commended the collaborative spirit of the Marcelanians family. The program was smoothly moderated by Ms. Mariel L. Andrade and Ms. Claudine G. Altar. This year’s SPTA General Assembly reaffirmed the significance of shared responsibility in nurturing learners and shaping a future-ready school community.
