Teachers from Marcela Marcelo Elementary School attended the International Year of Cooperatives Conference, held recently to promote global collaboration in education. The event brought together educators, community leaders, and cooperative organizations from around the world to discuss strategies for fostering teamwork, mutual support, and shared learning in school communities.
The MMES educators participated in workshops and discussions focused on the role of cooperatives in enhancing educational practices and promoting global partnerships. They gained valuable insights into how cooperative models can be applied in classrooms to encourage collaboration among students and empower local communities.
The conference served as an opportunity for teachers to network with international peers, exchange ideas, and explore new ways to integrate cooperative principles into their teaching practices. The insights gained from the event are expected to strengthen the school’s efforts in building a more inclusive and cooperative learning environment for students.
