This Saturday, ALS (Alternative Learning System) learners took part in engaging BYOB (Be Your Own Boss) and WBL (Work-Based Learning) modules designed to equip them with vital skills for future career success. These modules aim to empower students by offering practical knowledge and hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and workplace environments.
The BYOB module focuses on fostering entrepreneurial mindsets, teaching students how to develop business ideas, create plans, and manage operations. Participants explored topics such as budgeting, marketing, and leadership, learning how to turn their passions into viable business ventures.
Meanwhile, the WBL module offers learners real-world exposure to various industries through simulated work environments and mentorship. The goal is to provide insights into different career paths, improve workplace readiness, and enhance skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
The continued integration of these modules into the ALS curriculum is part of a broader initiative to prepare learners for success in both the business world and professional careers.
