School heads from across the country recently took part in an online training session focused on the revised K-12 curriculum, despite the event coinciding with a special non-working holiday. Among the attendees was Dr. Tirso V. Gali, principal of Marcela Marcelo Elementary School, who, along with other education leaders, demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development and the enhancement of educational standards.

The training, organized by the Department of Education National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), provided key insights into the updated curriculum, covering new teaching methodologies, subject areas, and strategies for fostering critical thinking and creativity in students. The session aimed to equip school leaders with the necessary tools to effectively implement these changes within their institutions.

Dr. Gali’s participation, along with that of his peers, highlights the dedication of school leaders nationwide to ensuring a seamless transition to the revised curriculum and upholding the quality of education, even outside regular working hours
