               The much-awaited Christmas party at  Marcela Marcelo Elementary School this year was a heartwarming event filled with excitement, unity, and holiday cheer. On December 20th, the school community—teaching and non-teaching staff—gathered for a festive celebration that showcased the spirit of togetherness and the warmth of the holiday season. The celebration took place in the school’s covered court, which was transformed into a vibrant holiday wonderland. The venue was adorned with colorful decorations that sparkled with festive ornaments. As the day unfolded, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as teachers and staff came together to share in the joy of the season.                 The highlight of the event was the series of presentations from each grade level showcasing their talents through dances and singing of songs. The performances were a true testament to the creativity and hard work. Every grade level presented enthusiastic performances that had the crowd cheering. From classic songs to lively presentations that brought smiles to everyone’s faces and made the day even more special.                Adding an extra layer of excitement was the much-anticipated raffle draw. With everyone eagerly waiting, the raffle prizes were met with enthusiastic cheers. Teachers and non-teaching staff alike were thrilled to see their names being drawn for prizes.The raffle added an element of suspense and joy, making the event even more memorable for all in attendance.                 No Christmas celebration is complete without some fun and games, and MMES certainly didn’t disappoint. The parlor games kept the crowd engaged and laughing. The games created an atmosphere of friendly competition and camaraderie, bringing out the playful side of staff. It was a time for everyone to let loose, share laughter, and bond over friendly rivalry.                To fuel the fun, catering services provided a sumptuous spread of delicious food. Tables were laden with mouthwatering dishes, from savory delights to sweet treats, ensuring that everyone had a chance to indulge in a festive feast. The meal was a perfect complement to the celebrations, giving everyone the energy they needed to enjoy the day’s activities.                The school’s principal, Dr. Tirso V. Gali, expressed his heartfelt gratitude during the event. He took a moment to thank the teachers, non-teaching staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. His words resonated with everyone as he acknowledged the importance of teamwork and unity within the school community. His voice filled with warmth and appreciation.                As the party drew to a close, everyone gathered for the final moment of the celebration—a powerful rendition of the “Unity Song.” This song, sung by the entire school community, symbolized the strength and bond that ties everyone together. The harmonious voices echoed through the covered court, reminding all present that the true meaning of Christmas lies in togetherness, love, and unity.                The MMES Christmas party was more than just a festive occasion—it was a celebration of community, joy, and gratitude. The performances, games, food, and raffle draw all added to the excitement, but it was the sense of unity and togetherness that made the day truly special. As the party ended, everyone left with smiles on their faces, their hearts full, and a renewed sense of belonging. It was a perfect way to wrap up the year, and a reminder of the importance of celebrating with those who make our school a special place. 

The presentation of candidates for Mr. and Ms. MMES was a memorable event, featuring the unique qualities of each contender. Adding to the excitement, the MMES Drum and Lyre Marching Band delivered a spectacular performance, energizing the crowd and setting an electrifying tone for the upcoming competition. The event truly showcased the school’s spirit and creativity.

A Joyous Christmas Celebration with the Thursday ALS Class

This course aims to equip adult leaders with the advanced tools necessary for effective leadership. On Day 6, participants will dive deeper into mastering critical leadership skills, refining their strategic thinking, and enhancing their ability to lead with empathy and confidence. Through practical exercises, case studies, and collaborative discussions, attendees will further develop the leadership competencies essential for success in dynamic, real-world environments

On Day 5 of the Advanced Training Course for Adult Leaders, participants honed their skills in strategic decision-making and effective leadership. The immersive program continues to inspire personal and professional growth, equipping leaders with the tools to drive impactful change in their communities and organizations.

On Day 3 of the School Head Aspirants Immersion at TPES, participants engaged in insightful sessions under the guidance of SDS, focusing on key leadership strategies and educational excellence. The program continues to equip future school leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to inspire and drive positive change within their schools and communities.

The Day 2 of the School-Based Seminar Workshop on Campus Journalism focused on enhancing key writing skills. Participants learned the essentials of copyreading, headline writing, feature writing, sci-tech writing, and sports writing. The session aimed to refine their journalistic abilities, preparing them to create engaging and accurate content for their school publications.

.Grade Level Coordinators from Grades 4-6 gathered for a Phil-IRI meeting, led by the English Coordinator. The session provided a platform to discuss key strategies and insights aimed at improving literacy outcomes for students across Key Stage 2.

The Kindergarten Christmas Party was a heartwarming occasion filled with laughter, cheer, and holiday spirit. Students eagerly participated in festive activities, from decorating to singing joyful carols. Teachers and parents came together to create a magical atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and holiday wonder among the young ones. This annual celebration not only marked the season’s festivities but also nurtured the spirit of togetherness and joy that defines this special time of year.
