A virtual orientation on the Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) and Early Grade Mathematics Assessment (EGMA) was conducted to equip educators with the necessary tools for assessing literacy and numeracy skills in young students. The session offered an overview of both assessments, which aim to monitor and improve student performance in key academic areas. Participants learned best practices for administering the assessments, analyzing results, and using the data to inform teaching strategies. The meeting, which stressed the significance of early education in academic success, was attended by the school principal, highlighting the leadership’s commitment to enhancing educational quality.
